WORKSHOPS: Wise Fool artists work with instructors in school, community center, museum and camp settings to design a workshop which accommodates your timing, curriculum, theme, budget and age group. Workshops can be planned for a single meeting or a series.

• Mask or headdress construction: work in paper mache, clay base, cardboard or plaster bandage
• Puppet Construction: Choice of rod, shadow or giant puppets *Theatre skills: games, character play, movement, creation of a play *Music: Vocal and rhythm play

RESIDENCIES: Create a pageant, performance or processional theatre event on the theme of your choice. During daily workshops participants work with Wise Fool artists to develop a storyboard, build large scale images using recycled materials, and learn theatre, movement and music skills. The result is a colorful, lively celebration for your school or community in which all feel involved.

Recent Kids Projects:

• Acequia Madre Elementary—creation of giant puppets and oversized masks for original myth written, built and performed by 2nd and 3rd graders
• Museum of International Folk Art and SF Children's Museum—rod puppet making workshop for kids of all ages on drop in basis
• Agua Fria Elementary—creation of giant puppet animals by all 5th grade classes for Earth's Birthday Celebration and Parade

$60 per artist per contact hour, consultation included. (residencies are negotiable) Travel and Supply fees as necessary 2 artists recommended for groups over 15 students.
